The Master Index is an Excel spreadsheet (.xls) with three tabs:
- Index by Document number: Subject and Key Word (KW)
- Index by Subject and Key Word (KW) (alphabetical)
- Unsorted Subject and Key Word (KW)
Documents and items may be cross-sorted by subject, key words, and names. For example, you can use the Master Index to find all the documents that mention Penelope Vassall.
